My girlfriend’s business, Post Pike, located in Capitol HIll and Georgetown, received an email from a Sarah Miller in October, sharing with us she was working on a local guide to spaces in the PNW (specifically Seattle) that show new and emerging artists’ works. This past weekend, Miller delivered a copy to me, which can be found in Post Pike Georgetown and many other venues featured in the book. I have been thinking an exorbitant amount about surfaces (as goes with any exhibition that lends a variety of sexy surfaces) but with these there is an insinuation of a screen or a barrier that exists in a in between space of viewer and object that is either referencing a LCD Screen or a fence or a window–– this is all throughout the show which brings me into differences I feel in yours…...
